MySchoolWorkstation is a piece of software that can be used by schools in order to easily identify machines at a glance.
The application provides system and session information, such as the machine name, it’s local IPv4 address as well as it’s Windows build version.
There is the option for users to change their default printer easily, similar to those systems included in products such as RM’s CC4, as well as a log off button followed by a confirmation countdown prompt.
If you’re interested in a demonstration, please contact me. Currently, this app is freeware.
I will personalise the app to include your school’s logo, name and banner colour and send a packaged MSI for you to deploy via GPO or MS InTune as a “Line of Business” app.
