I had this posted on my previous website, but I developed a piece of software a few years ago when I was in college, that allows you to batch rename media file exports so that metadata can be picked up by services such as Plex.

When you rip a DVD, using a tool such as MakeMKV or HandBrake, the files typically export with a generic name. My tool allows you to simply select a directory, define a format using wildcards and rename each episode with the show name, series number and episode number.

Note: This project has been inactive since 2022. I have plans to create some more tools in the future, but for now I have archived this on my GitHub.
